This summer intern role is based in our Edinburgh office. We operate a hybrid working policy with the opportunity to work from home one day a week. We do, however, encourage our interns to come into the office as much as possible to make the most of the opportunity to learn from and network with other team members.

The Opportunity
Reporting to a member of the Investor Relations team, you will gain experience of Global Private Markets during an exciting phase of growth and expansion for our business. You will spend 8 weeks in our team getting involved in real work by supporting us in a wider variety of tasks and projects. These might include:

Market Analysis – Use external market databases to create analysis and reports.

Performance Calculations – Execute analysis and calculations of performance returns and benchmarks.

Financial Modelling – Support on financial analysis, including financial modelling tasks.

Communication Materials – Assist in the planning and execution of communication materials (presentations, pitchbooks, etc.).

Database Management – Keep the area’s databases and controls up to date.
You will also have the chance to undertake formal learning using our best in class learning platform with content from top universities.

About You
This internship is suitable for third year students considering a career in investments.

Have strong analytical capabilities combined with intellectual curiosity

Possess strong IT literacy skills including Excel modelling, Word and PowerPoint.
